Man shot in `D’ Field Sophia

At about 1700h yesterday,  police say that Luston  Saul, 31years, of D’ Urban Backlands, Georgetown, was confronted by a man at `D’ Field, Sophia, who shot him to his left thigh and escaped.

Ramotar tops PPP vote

Miners complaining about Linden toll – Ministry

The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment says that it has received numerous complaints from the Guyana Gold and Diamond Miners Association (GGDMA) that persons are being charged a toll when traversing through Linden en route to the interior locations and says this matter will be pursued.

Tallawahs romp to seven wicket win over Hawksbills
