Mayor holding forum on city

Mayor Hamilton Green will host a public forum to inform stakeholders about the “actual situation” at the Georgetown Municipality on Friday at City Hall.

According to a press release from the Mayor and City Council, citizens have a right to know the contributing factors to the current deplorable state of the capital. “This public forum is intended to give the media and taxpayers an opportunity to make suggestions and recommend solutions” to address the challenges faced by the city. The meeting is set for 11 am in the Council Chamber at City Hal.

The mayor has invited the local government ministers and other critical stakeholders, the release said.
