A man and his female companion were remanded to prison last week, after they appeared in court charged with having 750 grammes of cannabis in their possession for the purpose of trafficking.
It is alleged that on March 13, at 3446 Postal Housing Scheme, North Ruimveldt, Orlando Daniels had in his possession 627 grammes of cannabis and Patricia Pitt had in her possession 123 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking. Both defendants, who reside at the said location, pleaded not guilty when the charge was read to them by Magistrate Leron Daly
