At about 1635h yesterday, police say British national Julian Dere, 77 years, was seen motionless in the swimming pool at the Pegasus Hotel. He was rushed to the GPHC where he was pronounced DOA.
Dere was staying at the Touristville Hotel, Subryanville, Georgetown, and had visited the Pegasus Hotel where he went swimming.
The police are awaiting the results of the PME as the investigations continue.
