Accident at Lovely Lass leaves man injured

Victor Kippins, 40, of No 28 Village, West Coast Berbice suffered impaired vision and multiple cuts and bruises about the body when his motorcar turned turtle at Lovely Lass around 10 am yesterday.

He was rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital where he was treated before being referred for treatment by an eye specialist at the New Amsterdam Hospital.

Reports are that Kippins had just performed an errand for his wife at Bush Lot and was returning home when his Toyota Corolla motorcar PJJ 8076 “ran off the road.”

An eyewitness told Stabroek News that Kippins was trying to manoeuvre back onto the road when he lost control and the vehicle “toppled several times.”
