At about 1520h. yesterday, police say that porter Mukesh Mangar, 38 years of Pigeon Island, ECD, was travelling in the tray of a motor canter vehicle along the Hope Public Road, ECD, when he fell out of the vehicle as it was negotiating a turn.
Mangar suffered injuries and was taken to the GPHC where he later succumbed.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
