Man allegedly shot by brother at Self Help Square

The police say that at about 1100h today, Yohan Greenidge, 32 years, of Guyhoc Park was allegedly shot and injured to his right upper arm by his brother as a result of an argument at Self Help Square, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown. He has been admitted to hospital.

Police say that investigations revealed that the suspect and his wife had an argument during which he was allegedly assaulting her. Yohan Greenidge intervened and a scuffle ensued between the two brothers. The suspect then left and returned with a firearm and shot Yohan Greenidge and escaped, police said.

He is not yet arrested.
