The Ministry of Labour, Human Services and Social Security is moving to establish a White Zone in Region Ten, Hymawattie Lagan, Administrator of the Women’s Affairs Bureau (WAB), said on Thursday.
The White Zone, which is a safe place where someone who has been the victim of domestic violence can obtain temporary lodging for a night or two, is expected to be launched during the second half of this year, Lagan said.
