A butcher was attacked and robbed of his jewellery by three armed men at Festival City last night.
Joseph Alladane, 54, of Melaine Damishana, East Coast Demerara was attacked and robbed by the men who were all armed with handguns about 21:30 hrs the police said in a release.
During the attack, one of the men discharged a round which grazed Alladane’s chin and damaged the windscreen of his minibus. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
