The police say that investigations are being conducted into a collision of two boats plying the Supenaam/Parika route that occurred at about 1645h today and which resulted in the death of boat captain Ganesh Roopnarine, 29 years, of West Coast Demerara.
It was the latest in a series of fatal river mishaps stretching back to last year.
