The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation has reported another maternal death, just over two weeks after a young mother and her unborn baby girl died.
Stabroek News has learnt that at approximately 2:00 pm yesterday, a 29 year old woman from a small village near Moruca, Region One arrived at the Kumaka Hospital after giving birth to premature twins in her home. The woman was taken to the hospital by her family
