A Foulis man is now the owner of an Apple iPhone 5 after his name was drawn during the first anniversary promotion for Apple products at Global Technology.
The promotion which commenced on May 20 and ended June 30 saw customers who completed a purchase at Global Technology’s Apple Store being entitled to be part of the prize drawing.
Representative George Melville presented the box of ballots from which the winner, Anthony Islam of Foulis, Enmore, East Coast Demerara was chosen.
Melville said the iPhone data plan will run on the “iNet Network” this coming September and hopefully it will be up for GuyExpo 2013. He continued that another promotion where the winner would receive free internet for a year with a five megabyte connection will be drawn at the end of July.
