After a re-tender for the construction of potable water wells at Providence on the East Bank of Demerara and Better Hope on the East Coast, the project on Tuesday attracted tenders from four companies.
The bids were opened at the National Procurement and Tender Administration Board, located in the compound of the Ministry of Finance on Main Street with the procurement agency being the Guyana Water Inc.

Meanwhile the Ministry of Home Affairs received five bids for the procurement of vehicles. While the bids were divided into three lots the given values were a total of the lots respective companies bid for.
