Thirty-four soon-to-be-commissioned Florida National Guard cadets and three instructors have begun a Cultural Understanding and Language Proficiency (CULP) programme here, which will see them living, working and having cultural exchanges with Guyana Defence Force cadets.
According to a press release from the US Embassy, the CULP programme which started on July 5 and ends on July 27, is geared towards developing the cultural awareness and foreign language proficiency skills of young leaders of the US military.
