Magistrate Ann McLennan remanded a pork knocker charged with having a quantity of cannabis in his possession when he yesterday appeared in court.
It was alleged that on the August 16, at Meadow Bank, East Bank Demerara, George Duncan, 28, a pork knocker, had 30 grammes of cannabis in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
Duncan was ordered to appear in court on September 16.
