At about 0115h. yesterday, police say that Brazilian miner Jose Alves Silva, 43 years, was driving an ATV along the trail at Buckhall, Essequibo, when he swerved from an oncoming vehicle and crashed.
He suffered injuries and was taken to the Suddie Hospital where he was pronounced DOA.
Investigation are in progress.
