Kevin Charles, who allegedly assaulted four policemen after being arrested, was yesterday allowed to go free on his own recognisance until his next court date.
Police say that on August 23, Charles had a knife in his possession. It is also alleged that on the same day, he behaved disorderly and unlawfully assaulted four police officers while at the Brickdam Police Station.
Charles, of 69 Vriesland, West Bank Demerara, pleaded not guilty when the charges were read to
