CSEC top students rewarded with Kaieteur Falls trip

Zimeena Azealia Rasheed and Yogeeta Persaud, both of the Anna Regina Secondary School, Region Two, were rewarded with all-expenses paid trips to Kaieteur Falls for being the country’s top perforers at this year’s Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) examinations.

The Farouk and BA Amin Service Station, of Meadow Bank, Georgetown, provided the trips to both the students and their parents.

A press release from the business enterprise, which has a branch at Adventure, Essequibo, said that Managing Director Farouk Amin was ecstatic when he heard the news of the achievement of the children from the Essequibo Coast and decided to reward them.

Amin congratulated the two students for their outstanding performance and urged them to continue to excel in their future endevours.  He also congratulated the parents as well as the teachers at the Anna Regina Secondary School for the part they would have played in the successes of the students.

While awaiting their flight to Kaieteur Falls, the students along with their parents were given a guided tour by Air Services Limited of the operations of the Ogle Airport, the release also said.
