Recently appointed headmistress Zanah George said Bush Lot Secondary was once the top school in the region and efforts are being made to have it regain that status and improve its CSEC results.

Among those present for the occasion were; Anesta Douglas, Education Officer with responsibility for secondary schools; Regional Information Officer, Sandie Ross-Hendricks as well as Regional Chairman of Region Five, Bindrabhan Bisnauth who delivered the feature address.
