Police yesterday destroyed four fields during a narcotics eradication operation, at Yarrowkabra, Soesdyke/Linden Highway.
According to a press release, during the operation nine fields of cannabis sativa (marijuana) plants, comprising approximately 85,000 plants ranging in height between 3 feet and 10 feet, were found and destroyed along with seven nurseries with seedlings and three camps.
No arrest was made, the release said.
