Bloodied body found near hospital

The body of an unidentified man of East Indian descent was found slumped against a wall at the National Public Health Institute on Thomas and New Market streets early yesterday morning.

The man, believed to be in his late 50s, was found in a sitting position clad in a black t-shirt and black three quarter pants and barefoot.

A large pool of blood could be seen a few feet away, leading from the road to the man’s body.

His body was also covered in blood.  The body is currently at the Lyken Funeral Parlour, and investigations are ongoing.
