Hakeem Haymer is facing a simple larceny charge after being identified to police by the woman who says he was the man who snatched her chain.
Police say that on September 14, at Water Street, Haymer stole a gold chain and pendant, valued $140,000, from Cynthia Latchman.
Haymer, 22, a miner, of Lot 20 Joseph Pollydore Street, Lodge, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared
