An 18-year-old bus conductor was fined yesterday after pleading guilty to threatening and assaulting his common-law wife.
Sherwin Rodney, of 4444 Mekdeci Housing Scheme, North Ruimveldt, admitted threatening Nicola Landon with a cutlass and choking her when he appeared before Magistrate Fabayo Azore at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The prosecution’s case was that he committed the offences on October 5, during a misunderstanding and that Landon managed to escape
