A mechanic was slapped with 36 months imprisonment yesterday for stealing a Kindle (an electronic book reader) after pleading guilty at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
Wendell Carter, 25, of Lot 616 Constellation Street Tucville was accused of stealing the Kindle from the home of Anelly Matheson. Upon questioning by the police, he admitted to the felony.
Police reports indicated that on October 6 in the Tucville area the victim had locked up her house,
