A 26-year-old man was yesterday accused of unlawfully assaulting his brother and using abusive language thereby breaching the peace.
Shawn Sinclair, of Lot 458 West Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read against at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
It is alleged that on October 8, Sinclair unlawfully assaulted Kenrick Sinclair and used abusive language causing a breach of the peace. The prosecutor had no objections to bail.
Magistrate Fabayo Azore released the accused on $15,000 bail for the unlawful assault charge and another $10,000 for the abusive language charge. Sinclair will return to court on October 24.
