Guyana, St Vincent in agri student exchange

A bilateral agreement between the governments of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and Guyana has paved the way for five SVG students to commence several agricultural related programmes at the Guyana School of Agriculture, while a team from Guyana is attached to the Ministry of Agriculture on that island.

The Government of Guyana will pay for tuition and board, inclusive of meals for the SVG students, a release from the Ministry of Agriculture said. The students will be pursuing diplomas in Animal Science, Agriculture Science and Agro-processing.
