Man accused of threats, indecent exposure to undergo psychiatric evaluation

Eusi Dusbury, accused of threatening a woman and exposing his genitals to her, was yesterday ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Dusbury was arraigned at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on charges of threatening language and indecent exposure, to which he pleaded not guilty.

It was alleged that on October 20, in the South Ruimveldt area, he used threatening language towards the woman and exposed his genitals to her.

According to the prosecutor Ramsahoye Rambujue, Dusbury was always in the habit of entering the woman’s yard. He stated that on the day in question Dusbury entered the yard and the woman told him to leave. Her rebuff caused him to get angry and he threatened her with his penis in his hands, telling her that he would throw acid in her face and disfigure her, the prosecutor said.

Dusbury denied the allegations. “I ain’t threaten the young lady and I would never… never expose my genitals to her,” he told the court. “Your honour, I ain’t want make problem just let me get my yellow paint I left it on the road,” he added.

When the magistrate asked him his age, Dusbury changed it several times before sticking to 42 years old. “You finish with me yet big girl?” he subsequently addressed the magistrate.

The magistrate then remanded him to prison and ordered that he undergo psychiatric evaluation. Dusbury, however, continued asking for his yellow paint.

The case was adjourned until November 7.
