Two-year-old bled to death due to abdominal injuries

A post-mortem examination (PME) has found that two-year-old Kimanie Watson, who died under mysterious circumstances, succumbed as a result of haemorrhaging and shock caused by multiple abdominal injuries.

The PME was performed yesterday by government pathologist Dr Nehaul Singh and the male relative who was held by police in connection with the child’s death has been released. However, police say their investigation is ongoing.
