Two men were yesterday placed on $80,000 bail each when they appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Charity Magistrate Court.
It is alleged that on October 20, at Charity Backstreet, Robert Osborne, 20, and Aubrey Osborne, 18, both of Stewartville, West Coast Demerara, stole one LG 42” flat screen television valued $180,000 from Dindyal Narine.
The two men, who were unrepresented, pleaded not guilty to the charge read to them.
There was no objection to bail by Prosecutor Krishnadat Ramana and the matter was adjourned until November 8.
