The launching of the Caribbean Association of Professional Statisticians (CAPS) was held on Monday in Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis during the opening ceremony of the 38th Meeting of the Standing Committee of Caribbean Statisticians (SCCS) and the 23rd Meeting of the Regional Census Coordinating Committee (RCCC).
According to a press release from the Caricom Secretariat, the launch included the presentation of prizes to Roydenn Silcott of Montserrat and Jason Reynolds of Dominica, who were awarded for their creations of the CAPS’s logo and motto, respectively.
