At about 0200h today, Gopaulram Dass, 35 years, of Better Hope North, ECD, was struck down by a motor car as he was allegedly attempting to cross the public road at Vryheid’s Lust, ECD. The driver of the motor vehicle fled the scene.
Dass was taken to the Woodlands Hospital where he was pronounced DOA.
Investigations are in progress.
