The police say they are conducting investigations into an incident that occurred at about 1115h. today Friday November 29, 2013, at the office of the Jailing Forestry Industry, Courida Park, ECD, during which Chinese National Gao Yun Xu was shot and injured to his back.
The confirmed facts of the incident has not yet been ascertained, but it is suspected that Gao Yun Xu was the victim of an armed robbery committed by two men who escaped on a motor cycle.
Gao Yun Xu has been admitted to a private hospital for medical treatment.
