Head of St Catherine North Police Division Anthony Castell in confirming the report told the Observer that two firearms including a rifle were also seized in the incident, which took place in the community of Waterloo.

Reports are that several men, who were at premises believed to be the home of an obeah man, engaged the police in gunfire. Three of the men died in the exchange of gunfire while the others escaped.

In addition to the weapons seized, police say a book with the names of several wanted men and their ‘prescription’ for oils and tablets to prevent them from being captured was also discovered.
