Homeless man killed in T&T

(Trinidad Express) A homeless man was found stabbed to death early Saturday morning under a bus shed in Tacarigua.

The man has since been identified by his brother as 45-year-old Anthony Kissoon. His killing has carried the country’s murder toll for the year so far to 176, according to an Express count.

Officers said shortly before 6 a.m., Kissoon’s body was found by a security officer under the bus shed close to Eddie Hart Grounds.

Detectives from the Arouca Police Station, the Homicide Bureau of Investi-gations (HBI) and crime scene detectives went to the area and carried out enquiries.

Kissoon’s body was removed to the Forensic Science Centre in St James, where an autopsy is expected to be performed today.

Homicide officers are continuing investigations.
