(Jamaica Gleaner) Residents of Lucea, Hanover, were left in shock yesterday after a double murder at the Clipper Nite Club in the wee hours of the morning.
Reports are that about 4 a.m., three men armed with guns entered the club, located along Seaview Drive in Lucea, and fired several shots before fleeing.
Two of the five persons hit died on the spot while the others were taken to the Noel Holmes Hospital.
One of the injured persons was later transferred to the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
The dead men have since been identified as 31-year-old Lee McFarlane, also known as ‘Lee Buck’, of an Elgin Town address, and Ishmael Perez, a 40-year-old Mexican who was once employed to a hotel in the area.
