(Trinidad Express) While crash victim Rajin Ragoonanan lay roadside taking his last breaths, a man pretending to assist him was instead trying to steal his jewelry.
Ragoonanan’s sister, Geeta Ragoonanan, said the loss of her brother had broken the hearts of her family, but there were others who seemed to have none.
“Imagine my brother’s life was just coming out of his body, that somebody came to steal from him. The person said he was trying to feel for a pulse, but my cousin spotted him and said he was trying to take his watch”, said Geeta Ragoonanan, 25. “I can’t believe people in this country are so heartless”.
