KINGSTON, Jamaica (Observer) — A Saudi man has done a remake of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry” in response to Saudi Arabia’s ban of women driving motor vehicles.
Hisham Fageeh, describing himself as an artist and social activist, has seen his video posted on the Internet some three days ago, receive over four million views.
In the video dubbed “No Woman, No drive”, which is 4 minutes and 15 seconds long, the Saudi said he heard Bob Marley’s song while studying in the United States and it caught his attention.
