Two men today appeared in separate courts charged with causing the deaths of two teens by dangerous driving.
Police say that Allister Burke, 26 years of Mahaicony, ECD appeared before Magistrate Clyde Nurse at the Mahaica Magistrate’s court this morning.
He pleaded ‘not guilty’ and was remanded to prison until March 11, 2013.
Police say that the charge resulted from investigations into a fatal accident that occurred on February 16, 2013, at Mahaicony and which resulted in the death of Troy Fraser, 13 years, of Mahaicony.
Rajendra Bisram, 24 years, of Bush Lot, Corentyne, has been charged following investigations into a fatal accident that occurred on February 20, 2013, at Manchester, Corentyne, and which resulted in the death of Zani Munroe, 15 years, of Liverpool, Corentyne.
Police say he appeared today before Magistrate Krishndat Persaud at the Springlands Magistrate’s Court and was placed on $1M bail for court on March 19, 2013.
