The body of a Brazilian miner was yesterday taken to the Lyken’s Funeral Parlor after he was discovered dead in a Queenstown Hotel.
One of the persons who discovered the man’s body said that 30 year old, Vagano Alves, was discovered yesterday in a sitting position with a “curtain rod” wrapped around his neck near the window of one of the rooms of the hotel rooms.
According to a patron of the establishment, it was believed that the man was experiencing some sort of personal problem since he was constantly in an intoxicated stated since his arrival at the hotel.
Although no one was able to provide a clear explanation of the circumstances surrounding the man’s death, the general consensus was that he took his own life.
