A man was remanded to prison on two charges of robbery under arms when he appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

Marlon Dolphin, 27, of Lot 286 Beverly Close, South Ruimveldt pleaded not guilty to the charges when they were read to him.
It is alleged that on May 11, while being armed with a gun, he along with two others robbed Tony Clark, who was standing at Aubrey Barker Road, of $60,000 and one gold chain valued $70,000, totalling $130,000.

On the said day also while being armed with a gun, he along with two others also robbed George Shawn Porter of one BlackBerry Torch valued $60,000.

Attorney Paul Fung-A-Fat, who represented the accused, in a plea for bail, told the court that his client is prone to seizures and is willing to lodge his passport and will present himself to the station if needed.
Dolphin was remanded until May 24.
