Rotten cashew tree threatens safety of road users

Dear Editor,

First, as a concerned citizen of the town of Linden, I must congratulate the police traffic department for painting and highlighting the traffic signs around our town, that must be interpreted as a plus for them.

Second, I’ve written a letter to the Mayor and Town Council of Linden in relation to a rotten Malacca pear or cashew tree, as it is called by most Guyanese, which is situated at the junction of Mora Street and Sir David Rose Avenue.

My original letter indicated my fears and concerns for the safety of road users, but that situation remains unchanged until now.
Yours faithfully,
B Winslow Parris
