The management of the Dharm Shala at 140 King Edward Street, Albouystown wishes the public to note that contrary to what has been published, the UK donation made to the Dharm Shala on Thursday, September 19, 2013, on behalf of five UK-based cultural groups in celebration of the 175th Anniversary of the Arrival of Indians in Guyana, was for the sum of G$250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand Guyana dollars), being the equivalent of £800 (eight hundred pounds sterling). It was not £800,000 (eight hundred thousand pounds sterling).
