This is just a reminder that that US Diversity Visa Lottery Programme (DV-2015) is accepting applications for the Green Card Lottery.
It is the only official lottery programme for immigrant visas to the United States outside of sponsorship.
Some 50,000 immigrant visas are available worldwide to persons from countries, including Guyana. Registration ends on Saturday, November 2, 2013.
The application process is free and programme requirements are simple. Most notably, applicants must have a high school education and work experience in a job that requires at least two years of formal training, and someone willing to stand as a guarantor of the applicant if he or she wins the lottery.

All applications must be submitted electronically.
Diversity Visa lottery winners pay a fee only to the US Embassy on the day of their visa interview.
After applications are submitted, a computer-generated, random drawing chooses selectees for Diversity Visas.
When registering, applicants must print and save their confirmation page with their unique confirmation code in order to check the status of their entry.
