Dear Editor,
I am proposing out of respect for, and to honour one of the greatest men of our times, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, to clean and tidy the entire avenue named in his honour.
I feel that because of the stature of the late Mandela, it should represent the combined effort of the state, the private sector, the community that dwells along the avenue, and the municipality.
I have asked the Deputy Mayor and my Personal Assistant to contact the above entities and to coordinate the process.
