Bolt hits 40 as tourists open with easy T20 victory

HAMILTON, Bermuda, CMC — Sprint champion Usain Bolt’s younger brother Sadiki struck 40 as Jamaican club side Melbourne Cricket Club opened a whirlwind five-match tour of Bermuda with a 49-run victory over local side Jamaican Association in a Twenty20 match at Somerset on Thursday night.

Bolt helped Melbourne post 155-7 with five boundaries in his innings and later took a catch as the tourists restricted Jamaican Association, the Commercial Cricket League’s T20 defending champions, to 106-5. Bolt’s offspinners, however, were less impressive as his two overs went for 22 runs.
