Christianburg/Wismar Multilateral Secondary compliments of a Terron Welch 29-point effort swamped four-time champions Mackenzie High School 100-31 as action in the Linden U-19 School Basketball Championships continued at the Mackenzie Hard Court on Wednesday.
Orchestrating the resulting demolition, Welch received worthy support from the duo of Afernee Deally and Travin Dryden who netted 22 and 16 points respectively. Ousafle Headley registered 15 points for the losing Mackenzie team.
In the second slated game of the day, Wisburg Secondary powered by a combined 26-point haul by team mates Taquille Johnson and Aubrey Campbell dismantled Linden Technical Institute (LTI) 65-36.
Johnson led the Wisburg offence with 16 points while Campbell contributed ten points in the victory. LTI team mates Marlon Alexander and Akeem Morris scored 12 and 11 points respectively in a losing effort.
