These final touches will see the full restoration of the CASH floor. Sanding is expected to be the next stage of restoration for contractors, followed by lacquering and the drawing of lines for the various sport disciplines which include basketball, indoor hockey and badminton among others.

The renovation of the floor was scheduled to be completed in April but a few setbacks including incorrect wood, which was rejected, put the contractors behind schedule.

The contractors will now aim to complete the finishing touches in the weeks ahead. The project is overseen by Kishan Bacchus General Contractor’s services.
