Ash Educational Trust edged Fort Wellington Secondary by a 1-0 score line compliments of a Kevin Layne first-half strike in the 45th minute at the Number Five ground, West Coast Berbice to win the Region Five finals.

At the All Saints ground in New Amsterdam, East Berbice, Berbice Educational Institute (BEI) led by a first half double by Gary Solomon in the 27th and 34th minutes defeated Canje Secondary 5-3.

Registering goals for the victors were Nathan Drake, Omari Benton and Troy Munroe in the fifth, 45th and 56th minutes respectively. Jamal Benjamin netted a double for the losers in the 77th and 81st minutes while Quasey Reed opened their account in the 29th minute.
