National volleyball coach Levi Nedd has shortlisted 18 U19 volleyball players to commence training with a view towards representing Guyana at the Inter Guiana games set for October in Suriname.
The games will be held October 16 to 20, in Paramaribo.

Nedd said that the squad has been involved in outdoor practice sessions for quite a while but indicated that the IGG volleyball matches will be held indoors.

Nedd said he has already arranged for the players to have practice sessions at the National Gymnasium where there is a Taraflex court.

He also said that it was essential that the players have the experience of playing on such a surface and of playing indoors.
