Lodge/Meadowbrook looking to rebound in inter-ward b/ball

The Cliff Anderson Sports Hall will take centre court as the group round of the Mackeson sponsored Trinity Grid Pacesetters (TGH) inter-ward basketball tourney continues tonight with three fixtures.

The feature contest of the evening at 21:30hrs will see Lodge/Meadowbrook trying to rebound from their opening group ‘C’ defeat to defending champions Albouystown/Charlestown when they lock horns with Buxton.

Cognizant that only a victory will provide them with the chance to qualify to the next round, Lodge/Meadowbrook will rely on the trio of Mortimer Stewart, Drunson McCullay and Ryan Wilson to secure the much needed three points come jump ball.

In the group ‘A’ mid-card encounter at 20:00hrs, East Bank unit McDoom/Diamond will oppose Alpha/Bourda while in the opening game at 18:30hrs, East Coast side Plaisance/Vryheid’s Lust will face off with East/West Ruimveldt in a group ‘B’ fixture.
